What we do
We aim at giving starting silver- and goldsmiths a place to work and socialize with eachother, and we work in a boat on dry land in Amsterdam. Currently we are looking for people to join us.
About Us
Silver float is a tongue in cheek for the Dutch word “zilvervloot” (pronounced similar). Started in 2025 by Thijmen Klok, we are organised as association (vereniging) with as primary goal to provide the tools and space so silver and gold smiths can work on their designs. We do not aim to make any profit on the services we offer. Our location is at De Ceuvel, a place and association that is also a nice (makers) community.
